Obituary of Travis Davis

Travis Davis February 01, 1922 - April 08, 2014 Travis Oren Davis, 92, of Shoreacres, Texas passed away on April 8, 2014. He was born in Muldoon, Texas on February 1, 1922 to Will and Leavie Davis. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Brothers Elmer, Lee, and Glen Davis and a Nephew Charles Davis. Travis is survived by his Wife Ruby Davis, Sister Marlene Kellington and his Daughters Susan and Charlene Davis, Grandson Ian, along with Nieces and Nephews. Travis Graduated from LaPorte High School and attended Bethal College for a Business Certificate, He served as a baker in the Navy in WW II. He also worked as an accountant for the Port of Houston, Flour Company, and Lyondell-Basell Chemical Company. He attended First Baptist Church in LaPorte. Visitation will be at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home on Friday April 11, 2014 from 7:00 P. M. until 9:00 P. M. Services will be at the Chapel Saturday April 12, 2014 2:00 P M. officiated by Dr. Wendell Gill Honorary Pallbearers are Ian Jason, Lonnie Dodson, Wayne Teutsch and Jack Roachell Paul U.
