Obituary of Mitchell Derise-Polasek

Mitchell Derise-Polasek June 27, 1994 - November 03, 2012 Mitchell DeRise-Polasek, 18, of La Porte, TX, departed this life on Saturday November 3, 2012. Born in Houston, TX, June 27, 1994, to Jackie DeRise-Jager, Mitchell was a bright student, a talented artist, and interested in Culinary Arts; he was a Freshman at San Jacinto College. Mitchell was employed by Buffalo Wild Wings and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved Cooking, Airsoft, Fishing, Astronomy, Art, Hiking, Camping, and computer games. He was a wonderful fun loving son; he was ambitious and active in multiple sports to include Baseball, Soccer and Football. Mitchell was an active scout, funny, and an excellent Chess player. He was also a member of Victory Baptist church in Cedar Park, Tx and baptized in 2007. Mitchell was loved by everyone who knew him. He touched everyones heart by being a sweet, helpful, and a respectful young man. Preceding Mitchell in death are his maternal grandparents "PaPa" Charles DeRise; great-grandparents Jo and Jimmy Pugh. He is survived by his parents Jackie DeRise-Jager and Dennis Jager, his siblings: Amanda, Bryanna, and Joshua; his nieces Mackenzie and Clarissa; his maternal grandparent Carol Kivch; his paternal grandparents Louis and Lisa Polasek Sr; He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted. God be with you son on your new journey and rest in peace. You will forever be deeply loved, missed, and remembered by your family and friends. May you have eternal peace and happiness. We will see you again one day! A memorial service was held Sunday at 4:30 November 11, 2012 at Santa Fe Worship Center in Santa Fe, TX. Cremation took place on November 14, 2012.
