Obituary of Wilma Laverne Donahoe Jones

Funeral Service Tuesday, Apr 25, 2017 2:00 PM Wilma Laverne Donahoe Jones March 02, 1926 - April 21, 2017 Wilma Donahoe Jones, 91, passed away on April 21, 2017. She was born on March 2, 1926 in Bryson, TX to Floyd Helvey and Carmen Enlow. Wilma married Loyd Donahoe in 1943 and were happily married for 43 years until Loyd’s death in 1986. She later married Coy “Doc” Jones in 1991. Loyd and Wilma were life-long members of La Porte Church of Christ. She enjoyed painting and spending time with family and friends. Wilma is survived by her sons Ken (wife Nancy) and David (wife Sonya); daughter-in-law Marilyn; brother Jim (wife Pat) of Graham, TX and sister Boots Davis of Olney, TX; grandchildren Kim, Bryan, Rhonda, Laura, Lauren, and Kristin, step-grandchildren Johnny and Donny; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Wilma was preceded in death by her husbands Loyd and Doc; son Doug; sisters Bobbye, Virginia, and Marguerette; brother Willard; and step-grandson Timmy. A funeral service will be held at La Porte Church of Christ at 2:00 April 25. A visitation will be held from 12 to 2 before the funeral. Burial will follow the funeral at Grand View Cemetery in Pasadena.
