Obituary of Wendy Sue Dye

Wendy Sue Dye August 06, 1954 - October 11, 2015 Wendy Sue Dye, of LaPorte, Texas ended her three-year battle with Carcinoid cancer at St. John’s Hospital in Clear Lake on October 11, 2015. Born August 6, 1954, she is predeceased by her parents Mary and Windle Riddle. She was a customer service manager for most of her life and had a knack for listening and making sure people around her were happy. She loved her husband and family, her cats, gardening, silly movies and jokes, cooking and her books. She is survived by her husband Fred Dye; her daughter and son-in-law, Danitra Faithe Luers and Christian Luers; son, Jacob Daniel Gladden; step-daughters and their husbands, Andrea Dye-Pasienski and Greg Pasienski; Catie Dye Barnette and Michael Barnette; grand-daughter, Kara Barnette; grand-sons, Bradley Pasienski and Seth Barnette; and her two cats, Harley and Leo. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at Paul U. Lee Funeral Home, Sunday October 25,2015 at 10:00 am. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the ICU at St. John’s Hospital in Clear Lake and to the medical and palliative care staff for their support in her final days.
