February 10, 1947 - January 24, 2015
Michael Wayne “Mike” Edgmon, 67, passed away in Seabrook January 24, 2015 with his Family by his side. Born in Malvern Arkansas February 10, 1947 to Arthur Hollis and Helen Marie Edgmon . Mike Graduated from LaPorte High School in 1966, served with the LaPorte Police Department for 29 yrs. after retiring from LaPorte he moved to San Saba Texas and worked with the Sheriff s Department for 8 years, Member of LaPorte Masonic Lodge # 857 AF & AM. Survivors include his wife Nelda Edgmon, sons Wayne Hollis Edgmon and Marcus Andrew Edgmon, daughter Kimberly June Douglas and husband Nathan, grandchildren are Justin Scroggins, Bailee Straight, Kaylah Douglas, Kalyssa Douglas, Scott Douglas, and Sean Douglas Brother In Law Frank Suggs and wife Mary, niece and nephews Lisa Suggs, Frank Suggs III, and David Edgmon.
Services Wednesday January 28, 2015 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church LaPorte with interment to follow at Grand View Memorial Park, Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Tuesday from 5-8 PM.
