Obituary of Barbara June Armstrong

Graveside Service Friday, Dec 29, 2017 11:00 AM Barbara June Armstrong November 23, 1929 - December 24, 2017 On Sunday, December 24, 2017, Barbara J. Armstrong, widow of Stephen D. Armstrong of LaPorte and daughter of Harrison and Marguerite McCoy of Bellefontaine, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord after a two-month battle with heart and kidney failure. Barbara, a 55-year member of Christ Lutheran Church of LaPorte and of Peace Lutheran Church of Pasadena and a long-time resident of LaPorte, leaves behind 3 children; John Douglas Armstrong, Timothy Daniel Armstrong, and Lee Ann Butchee, as well as 10 grandchildren (Stephen and Patrick Armstrong; Lauren, Ryan, and Cameron Armstrong and Katelyn Sutton; Devon Myers, Pierce Bishop, Xenia and Dalia Butchee) and 5 great-grandchildren (Alexis, Cole, Leighton, Aubrianna, and Stephen). In addition, Barbara will be missed by many friends and acquaintances. Services for Barbara will be held grave-side at Forest Park East in League City on Friday December 29, 2017 at 11:00 am where she will be interred beside her beloved husband Stephen.
