Evelyn Marie Fruge, 88, passed away Wednesday February 17, 2010. She was born October 5, 1921 in Lionspoint, Louisiana to Audrey Hebert and Eli Bonoit. Evelyn is survived by her sons Laudry Abshire and wife Vianna, Ruppert D. Abshire and wife Becky, siblings Iona Thornburg, Merna Bonoit Trahan, Jimmy Bonoit, Mary Benoit, grandchildren Michael Abshire, Mark Abshire, Tony Abshire and wife Vicky, Suzanne Szabo and husband Steve, and great grandchildren Blaze Abshire, Chase Abshire, Lauren Drees, Lisa Drees, Cody Abshire, Shelby Abshire, Jeremy Abshire, Lexi Szabo, and Stevie Szabo.
Visitation will be held Friday February 19, 2010 at 9AM-12PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be held immediately following at 12:30PM at La Porte Cemetery.
