Obituary of Ricardo Ruiz

Ricardo Ruiz, a resident of Pearland, passed away Friday, March 16, 2007 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Ruiz was born December 14, 1931 in El Salvador to the late Juan Ruiz – Torres and Carmen Figueroa. Mr. Ruiz is survived by a loving family; his beloved wife, Celina Betancourt Ruiz; four children, Carmen Corrales and her husband, Cesar, of Houston, Ricardo Ruiz, Jr. and his wife, Claudia, of Wichita Falls, Claudia Zacharek and her husband, Anthony, of Clear Lake City, and Tania Sauceda and her husband, Felipe, of Pearland; ten grandchildren, numerous other relatives and a host of dear friends residing in his homeland of El Salvador. The family will receive friends from 5 PM to 8 PM Monday, March 19, 2007, in the chapel of Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, in Pearland, where a rosary will be offered at 7 PM. The Celebration of the Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, March 20, 2007, in the chapel of Clayton Funeral Home with Rev. Darvin Bordelon, Deacon of St. Helen Catholic Church, officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, in Houston.
