Obituary of Katherine Jean Shuffler

Katherine Jean Shuffler, 37, a resident of Manvel, passed away on November 15, 2007. She is survived by her father and loving second mother, Lewis and Mary Anne Shuffler; her brother Brian and his wife Kristina; her stepbrother Scott Ellis and stepsister Vicki Luu and her husband Bao; three nieces, Alexandria and Olivia Shuffler; Amarys and one nephew, Damian Luu. Katherine is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Jean Shuffler. Katherine lived in the Houston area since 1994 and prior to that was a resident of New York City. She considered anyone she met a friend. She enjoyed visiting her family and some of her favorite activities with them were shopping, doing puzzles and sharing her musical knowledge with games such as “Name that Song”. One of her daily enjoyments was watching Wheel of Fortune. Katherine was loved and cherished by all who knew her. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 19, 2007, from 2 PM to 4 PM, and also in the evening from 6 PM to 8 PM at Clayton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, November 20, 2007, in the chapel at Clayton Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor John Davis of New Hope Church.
