Hollis Eugene Halford, 79, passed away January 29, 2008 in Baytown. He was born May 4, 1928 in Meadville, Mississippi to Larry and Hattie Halford. He is survived by children Hollis Halford, Jr. and Sherri, Craig Halford and Rachel, Forrest Halford, Carrie Neal, Julia Gilbert, Ellen Bishop, and their mother Julia Halford, Joe Halford, Tiffany Halford, Lana Minton and Jason, and their mother Barbara Halford, Kelly Joe Ramus and Gail, Edna Ramus Means and Dwyn, Will Ramus, Deloris Beason, and their mother Doris Van Horn Halford, sister Patsy Arseneau, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday January 31 at 6-8 PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be held Saturday February 2 at 2 PM in Gillett, Arkansas
