Obituary of Janice Ann Harper

Janice Ann Harper September 27, 1939 - October 17, 2013 Janice "Mo" Ann Harper of La Porte, Texas passed away at home surrounded by family on October 17th, 2013 at the age of 74. She was born in Mansfield, Ohio on September 27th, 1939 to David and Berdie Zentler. She is preceded in death by her mother Berdie Reed, son Jeffery Anderson and sister Judith Ethridge. Janice is survived by and lovingly remembered by her children Jean Ann Webb of Mansfield, Ohio, Kimberly Hill and husband Robert of La Porte, Texas, Lisa Kellough and husband Tab of La Porte, Texas, Jodi Plew of Fayetville, North Carolina, siblings John Zentler of Tampa, Florida, Gene Cochran of New York, Jerri Anderson of Millersburg, Ohio, Jackie Scherer of Mansfield, Ohio, grandchildren Tiffany Hill Babbitt, Christopher Hill, Ronnie May, Jeffrey Anderson, Jonathan Anderson, Aaron Schielack, Adam Schielack, Ashton Schielack, Dakota Kellough, and numerous Great Grandchildren. Janice moved to Houston, Texas in 1972 and worked at the Port of Houston and was a member of the International Longshoreman’s Association ILA Local 1351. Janice enjoyed any interactive games on Facebook including Candy Crush. She also enjoyed cross word puzzles, travel, reading, scary movies, and Elvis. The memorial celebration will be held at Paul U. Lee Funeral Home 201 S. 3rd St. La Porte, Texas 77571 on November 2nd 2013 at 1:00PM with Chaplain Glen Willingham officiating. Prayers will be offered at this time.
