Carol and family,
We are very much saddened to lose such a good friend and colleague as Ben. He was a genuine friend, an outstanding engineer and a fine man.
When one reached out to Ben, whether on a personal or a work issue, he was always there for us.
The service yesterday was very good and helped to make his passing a time to remember good moments of the past.
Our sincere sympathies,
Susan and Mike

The world has lost a gentle, kind, and endearing soul. My deepest sympathies to Carol, Benny, and all of his family.
We will miss him so much. He was a dear friend.
CBH was one of the first clients I assisted after I graduated from Law School. Over the last 20 plus years, although I enjoyed working with Ben on legal matters, some of my most memorable discussions with Ben focused on non-legal matters when he shared his joy and adoration for his Miniature Schnauzers. I also enjoyed sharing stories with him about my Schnauzers, as well. It is so fitting to have donations to the Miniature Schnauzer Rescue.
My heart is sadened by his death, but my life was so richly uplifted and brightened by his his life. He was such a wonderful person.

Carol & family,
I know that there are no words that really convey the tremendous loss that you have suffered in losing your husband, father, grandfather, friend, and the many other things that Ben meant to each of you. He will always be remembered as a man whose heart was bigger than the state of Texas. He loved all of you and he loved his little minis. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.
