Benjamin P. Harrington, Sr. passed away January 1, 2011 at M.D. Anderson in Houston, TX. He was born March 22, 1938 in Ludington, MI. He was a Retired Marine Engineer and owner of CBH Services, Inc. in Orange, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin C. and M. Arlene Harrington. He is survived by his wife of 36 years Carol harrington of La Porte, TX, two sons Benjamin R. Harrington and wife Linda of Bridge City, TX, Benjamin P. Harrington, Jr. and wife Shelly of Port Neches, TX, two daughters Lori A. Rivon and husband Edwin of Grand Rapids, MI, Sandra D. Freiberg and husband(late) Jonathon of White Hall, MI, one step-daughter Stephanie (Camil) Bundick and husband Brent (Chip) of Keller, TX, 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Monday January 3, 2011 at 4PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of usual remembrances donations may be made to the Miniature Schnauzer Rescue, 1827 Ash Meadow Dr., Houston, TX 77090.
