To The Family:
Mr. Hensley was my patient, my friend, and my brother in Christ. He was no stranger and he loved people. He loved to come here to the VA because of his compassion and kindness to everyone and the other veterans. We prayed together, laughed, and cried together. He loved his wife, the children and "everybody". Now, "May the Peace of God reign in each one of your hearts." Mr. Jack is with the Lord. The Bible says," to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."
With Much Love,
Clydie Smith,LVN(VA Hospital)

I'm sad to hear the news but so happy Jack lived and loved life for 76 years! What a blessing. I enjoyed seeing Jack and Sharon often when visiting my sister Heather and brother-in-law Brad. Jack always greeted my children and I with opens arms just like family. I really appreciated Jack's kindness and also that he had a wonderful relationship with my sister and niece Morgan.
God bless you Jack - what a wonderful gift God gave this world. My thoughts and prayers are with Sharon and family during this time.
