Louis Andrew Hoefar, 87, of Pasadena, Texas, passed from this life on June 28th at Paramount Nursing Home. He was born in Oklahoma on September 19, 1919. Louis was a WWII veteran who moved his family to Texas, in 1954, where he later retired from the City of Pasadena as an Electrician. He is survived by his loving wife and companion of 66 years, Pauline, his son, Claudia Hoefar, daughters, Kay Leteff and Pat Schmidt, six grandchildren, eight great-grand children, his brother Clarence Hoefar, sister Florence Smith, and twin-sister Lois McDaniel. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather with a personality larger than life and will be dearly missed.
A viewing will be held at Paul U. Lee Funeral Home, in La Porte on Monday, July 2nd from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm with graveside services to follow at Grandview Memorial Park in Pasadena at 12:30 pm.
