I was a prospective Shell employee and taking a series of pre-employment tests with many others one day in 2004. Darryl Hurt was present, representing the union. I immediately felt a kinship with Darryl. Darryl referred to his union co-workers as "little brother" or "little sister" and was always ready with a smile. I will miss him.

Darryl was one of a kind. He championed the Explorer Scouts when my daughters were teens. His humor and leadership will be missed.
