Howard Barnes, 82, formerly of La Porte passed away Monday April 5, 2010. He was born June 24, 1927 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to Letha and Lewis Barnes. He is survived by his Mary Barnes, children Geraldine Tapley, Howard Michael Barnes, Ronald Barnes and Filomena, step son Monte Richard and Sara, sisters Ruth Johnson, Evelyn Lance, 13 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday March 6, 2010 from 5-8PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Wednesday April 7, 2010 at 2PM at the funeral home as well.
