I knew Glen for over 20 years, and my late father Robert Goodman also knew him for that long if not longer. Glen was a fine gospel preacher and a fine man, and he will surely be missed. Glen was always quick with a genuine smile when you would talk to him. May God comfort his survivors, as we know that Glen is now in the comforting presence of God in Heaven.

I am so thankful for Glen. He had a wonderful positive influence on me in Arizona, especially while I was in college in Flagstaff. He was the example of a godly man and will be missed.

I would like to send my love and prayers to a man that I have known since a small girl in Arizona. What a joy it was to see him again while I attend Florida College. Bro. Barnhart lived a very rich and full life and I am happy for him to go on to his reward with my dad Robert. God bless

Glen was a kind, caring and loving servant of God. I had not seen him since he and Shirley came for my mother's funeral but I thought and prayed for them often. I remember, he and my mom painting together and the joy they both had. We will miss him here but hope to see him again with Our heavenly Father.

Glen was a humble and loving man who made an impact on my early life. What an example of love and service he was! Not only did he officiate my wedding, and conduct my father's funeral but I remember the day before my husband went in the military, Glen came to talk to him about his spiritual life. Keith was baptized a day later. We saw him occasionally through the years after he left Lubbock. His painting of the Oregon coast still hangs in my living room. He always had a great big smile for everyone. My sincere condolences and love to the family. He was such a good man who served such a great God and Keith and I loved him very much.

I will say it here, also: I loved that man. I think he, as much as anyone I've known, had it figured out what it meant to loving, forgiving and how Christ wanted us to treat each other as just people.
He was a wonderful, Godly man.

Dear Shirley, Glenda, Denise and families...
Our hearts were made sad upon the news of Glen's death. He was such a vital life force until the very end, continuing to be at church way past when we thought he could.
His enthusiasm and his loving, teasing smile were contagious and will be dearly missed.
Although, we are sad for us and will miss him terribly, and our hearts hurt for you, we are so happy that he is among the angels and with the God he devoted his life to following. What a gift he has been to us all.
We love you, and are thinking about you, and we are praying for your peace and comfort.
Love,
Edwina
