Obituary of Jackie Ray Kling

Jackie Ray Kling March 11, 1934 - August 01, 2016 Jackie Ray Kling, age 82, of Cypress, Texas passed away Monday, August 1, 2016 due to complications of pneumonia and other lung conditions. Jack was born in Purcell, Oklahoma on March 11, 1934. He was a Veteran of the US Army and served in the Korean War. He was employed by Humble/Exxon Refinery in Baytown, TX for 39 years. He had a love for plants and was known for his “green thumb”. Jackie is survived by his three daughters Jodi Starr and husband Billy Starr, Juli Frey, Jami Kling, and by his sister LaVita Aaron of Franklin, TX. He is also survived by his five grandchildren Kyle Walker, Sabrina Starr Geddes, Chad Starr, Cole Starr, and Samuel Frey, as well as his five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial reception is scheduled for Saturday, August 6, 2016 from 10 am – 12 pm at Paul U. Lee Funeral Home located at 201 S. 3rd Street, La Porte, TX 77571.
