Obituary of Jeanette Valentine LaGrange

Jeanette Valentine LaGrange January 28, 1943 - December 22, 2015 Jeanette Valentine LaGrange 72, of LaPorte died on December 22, 2015. She was born January 28, 1943 in Arnaudville, Louisiana. She is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Marshall LaGrange and her parents Adelmar Taylor and Octave Dugas. She leaves behind her longtime companion and best friend Francis Bergeron. She is also survived by her children Marcus LaGrange and wife Debbie from Mont Velvieu, Texas; Paige Hickman and husband Johny from Sylacauga, Alabama; and Suzette LaGrange from LaPorte, Texas. Her grandchildren Justin Hickman; Jamie Farris; Jeremy Hickman; Taylor LaGrange; Lilly LaGrange. Sister Rosa Duplechain from Baytown, Texas. She is preceded in death by her brothers Alton Taylor and Dutile Taylor; Sisters Velma Guidroz, Zula Stelly, Merley Knott, Verna Mae Guidroz, Anna Mae Stelly, and Wilma Calais. Her pallbearers are Justin Hickman, Jeremy Hickman, Johny Hickman, Andrew Farris, Clifford Bergeron and Clayton Bergeron. Visitation will be on December 26, 2015 from 10am until service time at 2pm at Paul U. Lee LaPorte Funeral Home with internment immediately following at LaPorte Cemetery.
