I've been thinking back to a happier time when your mom and I were watching all you kids grow up in the old neighborhood.

Was so sorry to hear of Rose's passing. I didn't know her long, but we really bonded when we were room mates while evacuating from a hurricane. Made points with Rose because "I brought the coffee pot". She was such a lovely lady that made such a positive impression the moment you met her. Her love of others remains while her spirit is now with our Lord.

Some of my fondest memories while growing up in La Porte was riding my bicycle to Pete's Place for the best burger around, the cold air and the special attention that made me feel unique. Every customer was treated as an old friend and family. I am so very sorry for your loss.
