Obituary of Catherine Giese

Catherine V. Giese, age 52 of Pearland, died after a long illness on March 31, 2010. She is preceded in death by her father, Marvin Moreau. She is survived by her mother, Jeanette (Van) Moreau; husband, William “Bill” Giese; sons, Michael Giese & his wife Jennifer and William “Billy” Giese; brother, Marvie Moreau Jr. & his wife Sandra; sisters, Linda Higginbothum and Kay Sustala & her husband Jim; grandchildren, Caitlin Giese, Nathan Giese, Trey Giese, & Henry Giese. Catherine was born on November 17, 1957 in Houston, Texas and was currently residing in the Pearland area. Bill and Cathy were married for 27 years. She was a very romantic, loving person who was a devoted wife and mother, always putting herself first before others. To her grandkids, she was affectionately known as “Mee Maw”. Cathy loved the holidays when she could cook for everyone and spend time with her entire family. Over the years, she and Bill enjoyed traveling to many of the state parks throughout the Texas Cathy’s fond memories will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her. The Giese family will receive family and friends to share memories and support about Catherine on Friday, April 9, 2010 at 7:00 pm in the Clayton Chapel.
