Obituary of Jean Martin

Jean Martin February 11, 1933 - October 22, 2014 Jean Martin, age 81, passed away on October 22, 2014 in Houston, Texas. She was born on February 11, 1933 to parents La Rena Matthews and Willard Brewer in Malta, Texas. Jean was a member of Hope Community Methodist Church and the La Porte Rotary Club. She was an office manager at Decker McKim and was in real estate for years in the Pasadena area. Jean also started Forrest Services with husband James in the 1980’s. Survivors include her husband Alva Martin, Daughters Jenny Beard and husband Andy, Jackie Wiedemann and husband Mike, Grandchildren Dawn Gonzales, Kelly Peeler, Miranda Peavler, Great-Grandchildren Hanna, Andrew, Christian, Blake, Hailey, and Maisey. A memorial service will be held Monday October 27, 2014 at 10a.m. at Hope Community Methodist Church. In lieu of usual remembrances, donations in Jean's name can be made to Hope Community Methodist Church at 2838 Lily, Pasadena, Texas, 77503 or to a charity of your choice.
