Leah Gilman McNeil February 03, 1937 - March 23, 2010 Leah Gilman McNeil, 73, of La Porte passed away Tuesday March 23, 2010. She was born February 23, 1937 in Boston, Massachusetts to Ida and Isadore Gilman. She is preceded in death by her husband Alfred McNeil, Sr. Leah is survived by her children Alfred McNeil, Jr. and Shenan, Ellen Owens and Ed, Carol Stanley, Steve McNeil and Vivian, sister Phyllis Weisburg, a very good friend Bill Chesser, grandchildren Alfred McNeil, III, Danny R. McNeil and Heather, Lee Owens and Stacey, David Owens and Casey, Christi Douglas and Byron, Mark Stanley, Brandon Stanley, Hunter Watkins, Summer Watkins, Autumn Dupuis, Alyssa Dupuis, Michelle Everett, great grandchildren Gabrielle McNeil, Cody Owens, Kaitlyn Owens, Gracie Owens, Hunter Douglas, Collin Douglas, Landon Stanley, and Alec Robbins, and son in laws Mark Stanley and Ricci Waites. Visitation will be held Friday March 26, 2010 at 9AM-12PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be held immediately following visitation at 12:30PM at La Porte Cemetery.
