Obituary of Wanda Jean Meadows

Wanda Jean Meadows June 15, 1937 - August 13, 2016 On Sat. Aug. 13, 2016 Wanda Jean Meadows went to be with the Lord. She was born Wanda Jean Northcutt on June 15 , 1937 to Ira (buddy) and Pearl Northcutt. She attended high school in Greenville, Tx. Wanda married Dick Newman in 1954. She was a devoted mother to three children, John, Deborah, Daniel. She remarried in 1973 to Alonzo Meadows. She was preceded by Lon in 2005. Wanda has 4 sisters Marie Biggs, Thelma Weeks, Verginia Belk, Vick Northcutt. And one brother James Northcutt. She has 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildern. Wanda was a devoute Christian, Supporting many worthy charity`s.She was a kind person who was always ready with a prayer. She was a loving mother who never gave up on her children. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held from 6-8PM Fri. August 19, 2016 At Paul U. Lee Chapel , A graveside service held at La Porte Cemetery 10AM Saturday August 20 2016 Good bye Mamma We will see you there John, Deborah, Daniel
