Obituary of Vivian Rosalie Berlin

Vivian Rosalie Berlin December 20, 1922 - February 22, 2013 Vivian R. Berlin of Waller, Texas passed away on February 22nd 2013 at the age of 90 after a brief illness. Born December 20th, 1922 in Lyons, Texas to William and Clara Heine where she was raised on a farm. At some point she and her sister Celeste moved to Houston where they got a job at the Continental Box Company. She soon met and married Orville A. Berlin in November 1954 and lived in Houston and Waller until his death in 2006. She is preceded in death by her husband Orville A. Berlin, parents William and Clara Heine, Brothers John Heine and Wilbert Heine, Sisters Louine Brinkman and Celeste Hatcher, and brother-in-laws David Brinkman, Milton Hatcher, William Suehs, and Kenneth Barrier. She is survived by daughter Deborah Rogers and husband Bruce, sons Nathan Berlin and wife Pam, Jonathan Berlin and wife Darlene, Stepson Mark Berlin and wife Christian, Grandchildren Joshua Berlin and wife Janet, Brian Rogers and wife Amanda, Ronald Berlin, Ashley Berlin and Jacob Berlin, Step grandchildren Jennifer and husband Boris, Robin, Simon, and Jimmy and wife Lisa, Great grandchildren Brian JR., Jordan and Emily, Step Great Grandchildren Tyler, Ryan, Sara, Chris, Aliana, Samual, Vincent Brooke, and William, Sisters Mavis Suehs, Gerladine Wiederhold and husband Otto, Alien Barrier, sister-in-law Esther Heine, and numerous nieces and nephews. Too many to list but who affectionally called her Aunt Dixie. Each one had a special place in her heart. Visitation will be at St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Houston at 9:30AM with services to follow at 11:30AM. Burial in Somerville, Texas at 2:30PM.
