Tommy Lee Mitchell December 29, 1940 - February 04, 2008 Tommy Lee Mitchell, 67, of La Porte passed away Monday February 4, 2008. He was born December 29, 1940 in Homer, Louisiana to Fed and Ella Mitchell. He is preceded in death by son James Mitchell. He is survived by wife Ione Mitchell, children Tommy R. Mitchell, Suzanne Weathers and Lory, Derrick Mitchell and Komeka, Margo Curette, Veronica Joseph and Kerry, Cedrick Jones, Michael Lowe and Sherry, siblings Leon Mitchell, Clyde Mitchell and Linda, Gene Mitchell and Lizzy, Minnie Mae Smith, and grandchildren Aushenterria, Desade, Avery, Aisha, Adora, Montrell, Chrissy, Rhianna. Visitation will be held Thursday February 7 at 6-9 pm at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Saturday February 9 at 11 am at Mount Olive Church in Homer, Louisiana with internment following at Mount Olive Cemetery.
