James Gardiner, age 73 of Pearland, was visited by the angel of death on Friday, April 30, 2010. His passing brought sadness to the hearts of all those who knew and loved him. James is preceded in death by his parents, John Sr. & Loretha (Colombe) Gardiner; seven brothers, and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Diane (Allen) Gardiner; daughter, Gina Gardiner-Young & her husband Harold; sisters, Linda Gardiner Rogers & her husband Kenneth and Lillian Gardiner Jackson; grandchildren, Gerald Lemond III, Ginna Lemond, Gia Lemond, Gabriel Lemond & Hannah Young.
James was born on September 19, 1936 in Grand Cateau, Louisiana. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Diane on November 5, 1974 and they shared thirty five blessed years together.
A Visitation and Rosary for James will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 10:00 am at St. Helen Catholic Church in Pearland. The Funeral Mass will immediately follow at 11:00 am. Interment is at Houston Memorial Gardens in Pearland, Texas.
