Gwenda and family, I'm sorry for our loss of Tommy and I share your grief. Tommy was a good man in so many ways to so many people. Tommy cared about people and tried to do the right thing. Tommy loved and had a big heart! Tommy was a bright spot in my day when I talked with him. I'll miss his laugh! Most of all, I'll miss him as my FRIEND! I would take nothing for the Saturday (Oct. 11,2014) where we were able to attend the OM vs Tx A&M football game. This is a memory, I will always have and cherish! Such a dear man, always smiling and so gracious. It was a gift for me to run into him at Las Hades not long ago. We hadn't seen him in a while and he was just as delightful as when I met him nearly 30 years ago. Just as handsome, too---especially with that little touch of white in his mustache. I am so very sorry for your family. Tommy was a very neat guy. We went to school together. He could sure be a cut up!! I would see him around town always in a hurry of course. My Dad and I both thought so much of Tommy. We always trusted him so much. We would call him and ask him to do work without ever asking how much it was going to cost because we knew that he would be fair and honest. I am heartbroken over his passing.
