August 01, 1960 - June 19, 2015
Tommy Charles Moser, 54, lifelong resident of LaPorte passed away in a work related accident on Friday, June 19th, 2015. Born August 1st, 1960 in Pasadena. Tommy has been a member of LaPorte city council since 2004, owner of Moser Electric since 1985. Graduated from LaPorte High School in 1978. He was very active in his hometown coaching little league baseball, football, basketball and girls softball. Survivors include his wife of over 33 years, Gwenda Moser. Children Kristin Martin and husband Kenny, Dustin Moser and Monique Whitehead and husband Ryan. Parents Tommy and Barbara Moser, brothers Tracy Moser and wife Laurel, Terry Moser and wife Alana, sister Annette Riggenbach and husband Chris. Grandchildren Garett Martin, Landon Martin, Faith Whitehead and Braylan Whitehead to whom he was affectionately known as “GRUMPY”.
Family will receive friends Tuesday night 6/23/2015 from 6-8pm at Broadway Church of Christ in LaPorte 704 S. Broadway. Services Wednesday 6/24/2015 at 11am at Sylvan Beach Pavilion with interment to follow at Grandview Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Louis Rigby,Corby Alexander, Terry Moser, Tracy Moser, Stan Sherwood,Dustin Moser, Mark Follis,Vance Liles. Honorary pallbearers Mike Westregren, Alton Ogden, Charlie Perry, Michael Dobly, and Phillip Hoot. Those desiring a memorial fund will be set up at Wells Fargo Bank LaPorte, contact Jody Havens.
