Bridgitte Cherie Odom October 25, 1983 - November 30, 2014 Bridgitte Cherie Odom went to be with her Lord and Savior early Sunday morning after a long illness. Bridgitte was born in Houston on October 25, 1983, and grew up in Baytown, Texas. She was a 2002 graduate of Ross S. Sterling High School. She is survived by her grandmother, Margaret Odom of Blue Eye, Missouri; mother, Colette Coleman of Baytown; father and stepmother Duke and Taly Odom of Friendswood, Texas; brother Edward Odom of Seabrook, Texas, stepsisters Anna and Amanda Chavez; aunts and uncles Barbara and Lee McDowell of Nacogdoches, Texas; Stephen and Gail Becka of Macon, Georgia; Ann and Randy Brazil of Devers, Texas; Marian and Keith Duncan of Ohio; Cherie and Alan Holloway of Canyon Lake, Texas; Lisa Odom of Blue Eye, Missouri; Margaret and David Hopkins of Blue Eye, Missouri; Lucky Odom of Baytown, Texas; cousins Jennifer McDowell of Houston, Texas; Kelly Graff of Marshall, Texas; Scott Becka of Atlanta, Georgia; Courtney Radley of Clear Lake, Texas; Kristin Chauvin of Dayton, Texas; Leslie Jeffrey of Kingwood, Texas; Alex Holloway of Denver, Colorado; Amanda Wesson of Houston, Texas; Josh Holder of Houston, Texas; Baron Alexander of Dallas, Texas; Jackie Horseman of Harrisonville, Missouri; Ray West of Dallas, Texas; and Eric Steverson of Harrisonville, Missouri; and Jarrod Odom of Baytown, Texas. Bridgitte was brilliant and aspired to become a doctor, but due to her illness was unable to fulfill that dream. She loved animals, especially Chihuahuas. She was terribly saddened when her beloved Chihuahua, Sugar Bear Baby who was her constant companion for 13 years, died recently. Later, she adopted a Chihuahua who had two puppies who she named Michael and Gabriel because of her love of angels. Bridgitte will be sorely missed by her friends and her family who loved her dearly. She is now with her Heavenly Father, never to be plagued by her illness again. In lieu of usual remembrances, donations can be made to the Baytown Animal Shelter. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 Saturday Dec. 6, 2014 at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel.
