Pat Oliphant, 78, of La Porte passed away Thursday November 5, 2009. She was born February 22, 1931 in Pampa, Texas to Willie Mae and Jay Cook. Pat retired from La Porte ISD, and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and the Ladies Auxiliary La Porte Volunteer Fire Department. She is survived by her husband Jack Oliphant, children Valerie Gore and husband Frank, Barry Oliphant and wife Suzie, Lance Oliphant and wife Cyresia, Bret Oliphant and wife Pat, grandchildren Vanessa
Fielding, Joshua Gore, Michelle Oliphant Cremers, Tony Oliphant, Natalie Oliphant, Ethan Oliphant, Shelby Oliphant, Chelsea Oliphant, and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday November 8, 2009 at 4PM-7PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service will be held Monday November 9, 2009 at 11AM at La Porte Community Church.
