Dorothy Orris, 76, of La Porte passed away Sunday March 8, 2009. She was born February 15, 1933 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Rosine and Matthias Weiss. She is preceded in death by her husband Theodore Orris. Dorothy is survived by daughter Patricia Highfill and Vernon, sons Theodore Orris and Michelle, John Orris, William Orris and Louise, sister Virginia Purnell, grandchildren Marion Highfill, Vernon Highfill III, Amanda Gallavan, Mikela Orris and Bo, Katy Orris, William Orris Jr., and 3 Great Grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday March 11, 2009 at 1 PM at Houston National Cemetery.
