Edwin Adolf Pankonien February 11, 1927 - July 22, 2008 Edwin Adolf Pankonien, 81, of Seabrook passed away July 22, 2008 in Pasadena, Texas. He was born February 11, 1927 in Riesel, Texas to Ella and Ed Pankonien. He is preceded in death by his wife Wilma Lee Chanbless. Edwin is survived by son James Pankonien, Richard Pankonien, Louis Pankonien and Linda Kendrick, sisters Bertha Broyles and Alton, Ella Mae Newman and Edgar, Ida Luedke and Alvin, Helen Cates, brothers R.D. Pankonien and Florine, Bennie Pankonien and Florine, Louie Pankonien, James Pankonien, grandchildren Kyle Pankonien and Anna, Tina Davison and Bill, and 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday July 28, 2008 at 9AM-12PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2PM at Houston National Cemetery.
