Barbara Templeton Powell August 11, 1935 - April 12, 2011 Barbara Templeton Powell, 75, of La Porte passed away Tuesday April 12, 2011. She was born August 11, 1935 in Palestine, Texas to Avey Fuller and Curtis Templeton. Barbara is preceded in death by husband Henry Powell, son Robert Powell, and great grandchild Hunter. She is survived by her daughters Amanda McEwen and husband Mark, Nancy Beran, brothers Robert Templeton and wife Peggy, Charles Templeton, grandchildren Robert Powell and wife Melissa, David Powell, Tawnya Haskins, Robert Young, Jill Skillern, Curt Skillern, Callie Skillern, Jessica Brown and husband Jason, Jacob McEwen, and great grandchildren Robin Powell, Taylor Powell, Tristan, Courtney Walters, Ryann Walters, Kohen Brown, Chelsea Young, Mason Young, and Austin Haskins. A graveside service will be held Thursday April 14, 2011 at 11AM at Grand View Cemetery in Pasadena.
