Obituary of Anita Wisotzki Price

Anita Wisotzki Price January 03, 1927 - August 23, 2016 Anita Wisotzki Price, 89, passed away in her home on Tuesday, August 22, 2016 surrounded by her family. Born in Chicago, Illinois, to Felix Wisotzki and Katharina Taesche, Anita moved to Shoreacres in 1961 with her husband James "Jim" David Price, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, now deceased. They were married for 59 years and raised two sons and a daughter. Anita was actively involved in her community, leading local Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, and La Porte sports teams. She was also heavily active with Evelyn Kennedy in the work of the La Porte Civic Association during the 1960s-80s. In their later years, Anita and Jim retired to the cabin they built in Wimberley, Texas. Anita was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed by her loved ones. She is survived by her three children: James David Price, married to Pam Bettis, of St. Louis, Missouri; Debra Lynn Price, married to Walter Swartz of Seabrook, Texas; and James Robert Price, married to Barbara Foss of Wimberley, Texas, as well as her grandsons: Dr. Joseph Alan Swartz, married to Dr. Joanna Tsenn, and Timothy Wayne Swartz, married to Kate Ozment. A visitation for friends and family will be held Sunday, August 28, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Paul U. Lee Funeral Home: 201 S 3rd St. La Porte, TX 77571. Final disposition by the family will be in Wimberley, Texas, at a later date. Please no flowers; instead, donations in the name of Anita W.
