With determination and a life-long goal, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1982 at the age of 58, and then earned her Master of Science in Accounting in 1985 at the age of 61. In recent years she made family scrapbooks for her great-granddaughters and published family history books of John’s and her ancestors.
