Obituary of James Carey Rankin

James Carey Rankin November 18, 1964 - December 09, 2012 On December 11th, 2012 our beloved son James entered into heaven to be with the Lord and Savior with a beautiful smile on his face. Even though he suffered greatly he loved the Lord and knew where he would be going. James was born in Dallas, Texas on November 18th, 1964. He later became a La Porte resident where he attended grade school through 12th grade. He loved people and had a great sense of humor. His favorite thing to do was fish. He loved nature and wildlife as he developed a great appreciation for what the Lord made. He could lead in the dearest prayers that touched a lot of people and was known for this as M.D. Anderson. The viewing will be from 9:00AM to 12:00PM at Paul U. Lee Funeral Home on December 14th, 2012 with a graveside serviceto follow at Grand View Memorial Park at 1:oo P M . He is survived by his beloved mother Trisha Rankin and father Mike Rankin. His son James Jr., his brother whom loved very much is Bruce Rankin and his beloved wife Christina, Crystal Rankin his sister, and husband Aaron, and niece Christina, Jessica Parker his niece and husband Walter and their baby Jacob who live in Japan. JC Rankin his nephew and beloved wife Nicole and numerous aunts, uncles, relatives, and cousins. In lieu of usual remembrances the family would like all donations be made to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center of Houston.
