Obituary of Richard Robertson DDS

Richard Robertson Jr. DDS October 16, 1955 - June 30, 2015 Richard L. Robertson Jr. DDS Richard Lloyd Robertson, Jr., DDS of La Porte, TX passed away Tuesday June 30th 2015 at age 59. He was born in Houston on October 16, 1955. After graduating from Cy-Fair High School, he went on to earn his DDS at the University Of Texas School Of Dentistry in Houston. Dr. Robertson established his La Porte dental practice in January of 1990 and moved his family to La Porte shortly thereafter. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Many knew him as both a dedicated family man and dentist. When not caring for his patients, Dr. Robertson enjoyed spending time with his son in various activities including hiking state and national parks in Texas. He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy L. Robertson, his parents Richard L. Robertson Sr. and Evelyn H. Robertson of Rosebud, TX. He is survived by son Dean Robertson and daughter Jessica Robertson, granddaughter Cayla Miculka, his sisters Becky and Jack Trigg of Mont Belvieu, Debi and Jim Boyle of Lubbock, and brother Don and Henrietta Robertson of Austin. Also left to mourn his passing are nieces Ginger Fray of The Woodlands, Wendy Tubb of Southlake, Megan Boyle of Astoria, New York and nephews David Kennedy of Austin, John Boyle of Lubbock, brothers-in-law Scott and Jim Robertson of Florida, Kenny and Sandra Robertson of Houston, Paul and Roberto Robertson of California and many extended family members. A memorial service to celebrate Dr. Robertson’s life will be held on Friday, July 17th at 10:00 a.m. at the 2nd Baptist Church Baytown, 6227 North Main Street, Baytown, Texas 77521.
