Charles "Pete" Rogers Robertson, SR. October 09, 1936 - October 07, 2013 Charles “Pete” Robertson, SR., 76, of Deer Park, Texas passed away on October 7th, 2013. He was born in Vernon, Texas on October 9th, 1936 to James and Lela Robertson. He is preceded in death by daughter Caryn Robertson Guest, siblings Norma, Tom, Troy, and Sherman. His survivors are wife Ava Robertson, children Deanna Robertson Biggers and husband Steve of Brenham, Texas, Charles R. Robertson “Pete JR.” of La Porte, Texas, Jan Robertson Teague and husband Stan of Deer Park, Texas, Kim Robertson Turner and husband Greg of Arlington, Texas, son in law Todd Guest of Houston Texas, siblings Lela Mae Parnell and husband Bill of Pasadena, Texas, Frances Boudreaux and husband Wayne of Pasadena, Texas, Joe Robertson and wife Marilyn of Houston, Texas, Wanda Walls of Pasadena, Texas, brother in law Don Parnell of Deer Park Texas, grandchildren Kyle Guest, Courtney Guest, Jason Guest, Laura Biggers, Linsay Biggers, Claire Teague, Mattie Teague, Cole Turner, and Brady Turner. Pete was a member of the La Porte Community Church. He graduated from La Porte High School in 1954, Texas A&M in 1962 with an Industrial Engineering degree, and was the owner of A&M Quality Enterprises and Robertson's Nursery. Visitation will be October 10th, 2013 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Paul U. Lee Funeral Home and services will be held October 11th, 10:00AM at La Porte Community Church with Reverend Brian Christen officiating. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park. In lieu of usual remembrances donations may be made to the Memorial Fund at La Porte Community Church.
