Obituary of Jerry Erwin Schima

Jerry Erwin Schima March 13, 1949 - November 14, 2016 Jerry Erwin Schima, 66, of Pasadena, Texas died on November 14, 2016. He was born, March 13, 1949 in Baytown, Texas. He attended Robert E. Lee High School. Upon graduating from University Of Houston in 1972 he began a coaching & teaching career at Pearland high school for 4 years and coached tennis taught history at Robert E Lee High School for 17 years. He then became a history teacher at La Porte High School for 14 years where he continued to substitute until his passing. He is preceded in death by his son Kevin Mikol and father Clarence Schima. He is survived by his wife Keri, two daughters Keli Armstrong and husband Jeremy, Kaelyn Cooper and husband Jonathan and six grandchildren Tyler, Aidyn, Sam, Abigail, Charlie and Maggie. His mother Evelyn Schima from Woodville Texas, a brother Bob Schima and wife Donna from New Braunfels Texas, and a sister Linda Turner and husband Richard from Baytown Texas. There will be a Memorial Visitation on Thursday, November 17th at Paul U Lee in LaPorte Texas from 5 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers - donation to American Heart Association.
