Brenda, we were shocked to hear of Walt's passing. He will be sorely missed. Please accept our deepest sympathy. Walt was a great friend, fishing buddy and story teller. I spent many an hour with Walt up at the river, and as many hours in a boat on the bays. And he's probably telling the stories right now. Walt's in a better place now ..... and I can't wait till I meet him again. First he'll show me around, then we'll sat down, catch up on things, then laugh a lot. Rest easy my friend.

Loved my cousin Walter even if time has separated us. I have wonderful childhood memories of him. He always called me Boo, even into my golden years. Rest in peace cousin.

I knew Walt for many years as a library patron and had many wonderful conversations with him during my near three decade tenure at that job. He was a true original and will be missed. I cherish his memory because he was one of those people who made performing my job a pleasure. May God speed his spirit across the Rainbow Bridge to the halls of Valhalla where the brave may live forever. With sincere regard--Mark Stamps
