Obituary of Mae Sue Sheegog

Mae Sue Sheegog July 31, 1934 - November 26, 2012 It is with great sadness that the family of Mae Sue Sheegog, 78, of La porte, Texas, announces her passing on November 26, 2012, of complications from her battle with lymphoma. She will be remembered by all who loved her for her grace, faith, and devotion to her family and friends. She was born on July 31, 1934, in Cedar Point, Utah, to James Henry and Clarice Fay Yates. She married Bill Sheegog in 1958, and they were married for 54 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Pasadena and Eastern Star. Mrs. Sheegog is survived by her husband Bill, and four daughters, Linda Williamson, Sherry Van Zeyl and husband John, Kathy Frye and husband Rob, and Susan Latimer and husband Bart. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Kristie Hoffman, Daniel Hoelscher, Bobby Frye, Amy Tiscareno, Kayleigh Latimer, and four great grandchildren, Nate Hoffman, Bailey Hoffman, Megan Hoelscher, and Aislyn Tiscareno. The funeral service will be held at 10:00AM on Friday November 30, 2012, at Paul U. Lee Funeral Home Chapel, 201 S. 3rd Street, La Porte, Texas. Visitation will be held on 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Thursday, November 29, 2012, also at Paul U. Lee Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will occur on Saturday December 1, 2012, at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Paul’s Valley, Oklahoma.
