Karen Shelton December 24, 1954 - December 12, 2009 Karen Shelton, 54, of La Porte passed away Saturday December 12, 2009. She was born December 24, 1954 in Salem, Oregon to Lottie and Fred Leach. She is preceded in death by her father and brother Freddie Leach. She is survived by mother Lottie Leach, children Jerry Fairchild, Cynthia Fairchild, sisters Pat Brooks, Joyce Vinton, Carolyn Taylor, Diane Thompson, Trudy Gorey, Glenna Leach, and brothers David Leach, Jerry Leach, Randy Leach, Ronnie Leach, Leo Leach, Cleo Leach, Charles Leach, and Dennis Leach. Visitation will be held Sunday December 20, 2009 at 9AM-2PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. A service will be held immediately following visitation at 2PM at the funeral home, with interment at La Porte Cemetery.
