Dwight Shields, 71, of Huffman passed away Monday April 26, 2010. He was born January 10, 1939 in Sherman, Texas to Opal Hunter and Burl Shields. Dwight is survived by his wife Tena Shields, daughters Diana Shields and partner Jennifer Wells, Glynda Hayes and husband David, Karen Shields and partner Terra Thompson, brother Vinson Shields, grandchildren Daniel Hayes and wife Mary, Michael Hayes and wife Stephanie, Christopher Hayes and wife Melissa, Jacob Wells, and great grandchildren Braedon Hayes, Sara Hayes, Isabella Hayes, and Olivia Hayes.
Visitation will be held Thursday April 29, 2010 from 6PM-8PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be held Friday April 30, 2010 at 2PM at La Porte Cemetery.
