Obituary of Gary David Staib

Gary David Staib December 04, 1954 - January 09, 2008 Gary Staib, 53, of La Porte passed away Wednesday January 9, 2008 in Baytown. Gary moved here from Milwaukee, Wisconsin when he was 3 months old with his parents, David and Beverly Staib, his sisters Sandra and Patricia, and brother Allan. From then on he loved the water. He was the manager of Lynda’s Sylvan Beach Bait and Tackle for about 7 years. He made friends with any one who came in the door. He always said he had the best job, watching the sunrise every morning. He was loved by all who knew him. Gary is survived by sisters Sandra Haydon and Tom of Pearland, Patricia Smith and Tommy of Conroe, brother Allan Staib and Dana of Birmingham, Alabama, many nieces and nephews and one great nephew. Visitation will be held Friday January 11, 2008 at 2 PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Saturday January 12, 2008 at 10 AM at the funeral home with internment following at La Porte Cemetery.
