Ila Faye Bonnette August 08, 1956 - March 14, 2015 Ila Johnson Bonnette NANA , age 58 Entered into eternal rest with her daughter by her side on March 14, 2015 9:20pm at Kindred Bay Are Hospital Pasadena, Tx Ila was born on August 8, 1956 to A.J. and Jewel Johnson. Ila was a lifelong resident of La Porte and graduated from LPHS 1974. She worked for the Port of Houston at Barbour ' s cut for over 20 years Ila was a caring and loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her greatest joy was being Nana to her grandchildren, which her world revolved around. Proceeded in death by parents A.J. Johnson, and Jewel Dean Shirley Johnson. Sister Carol Irene Johnson Hawkins. Survived by daughter, Angela Irene Bonnette Rippon, son in law John Shane Rippon, Grandsons Casey Wade Sullins, Bryce Dean Sullins, Granddaughters Alanis Jewel Sullins, Kaylee Shayne Rippon, Koren Paige Rippon Brother Howard Johnson and wife Ann, Niece Daryl Ann Molnar and husband George and Nephew Lance Johnson and wife Kristie, Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Wednesday March 18, 2015, from 6-9 PM. with Services at 1:00 P M Thursday March 19, 2015 in Paul U. Lee La Porte Chapel With Rev Fred Wooley and Rev. Walter Brumley Officiating. Interment to follow at La Porte Cemetery.
