Obituary of Bill Stout

Bill Stout July 17, 1926 - May 14, 2009 William “Bill” Stout, Jr., 82, of Morgans Point passed away Thursday May 14, 2009. He was born July 17, 1926 in Houston, Texas to Bertha and William Stout, Sr. He graduated from Rice University and The University of Texas Law School. Bill was an avid sailor, a member of the Houston Yacht Club, and a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church. He is survived by wife Maggie Stout, children Anthony Stout and wife Linda, Dr. Jean Stout, Amy Stout Bean and husband Hal, William “Will” Stout and wife Maria, brother Burt Stout and wife Carolyn, grandchildren Gavin Stout and wife Gretchen, Andrea Stout, Ashley Smith, Samantha Smith, Foss Bean, Annie Bean, William Bean, and Coco Bean. Visitation will be held Sunday May 17, 2009 at 4 PM-7 PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Monday May 18, 2009 at 2 PM at St. John’s Episcopal Church in La Porte. In Lieu of usual remembrances donation may be made to St. John’s Episcopal Church’s After School Program, 815 S. Broadway, La Porte, TX 77571.
