Frank Suggs
May 28, 1948 - March 31, 2015
On March 31, 2015, Frank Suggs Jr. passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on May 28, 1948 in Loris, South Carolina to Frank and Bonnie Suggs. Frank was a 1967 graduate of La Porte High School. He was a retired Chief of Police serving the city of Morgan’s Point. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Bonnie and brother-in-law, Mike Edgmon. He is survived by his wife, Mary Suggs; children, Lisa Killian, Frank Suggs III, James Talbot, Jeff Talbot and Jessica Anderson; son-in-laws, James Killian and William Anderson; sister: Nelda Edgmon, nephews, Wayne Edgmon and Marcus Edgmon; niece, Kimberly Douglas; and grandchildren, Taylor, Khloe, Aaron, Jeremy, Krystal, Michael, Kayla, Brandon, Haleigh, Hannah and Hunter.
Visitation will be Friday, April 3 from 5-9 pm at Paul U. Lee Funeral home in La Porte. Services will be held 10 AM, Saturday, April 4 at First Baptist Church in La Porte. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
