Obituary of Belinda Eaton Swavely

Belinda Eaton Swavely April 18, 1952 - August 21, 2010 Belinda Eaton Swavely found peace with her Lord after a struggle with cancer. She was born April 18, 1952 in Gilmer, Texas. She passed away on August 21, 2010 with her family and friends near her. She was preceded in death by her baby Wendy Gale Hibbs, her father J.R. Eaton, and brother Alton Monroe Eaton. She is survived by her husband Brian K. Swavely, mother Zelda Jane Eaton, brothers David and Dale Eaton, Ronald and Nan Eaton, Mike and Sheena Eaton, and Douglas and Tammy Eaton. She had 14 nieces and 4 nephews that she loved dearly and 2 great nieces and 1 great nephew that was the joy of her and Brian’s life. Visitation will be held Tuesday August 24, 2010 at 5-9PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Wednesday August 25, 2010 at 10AM at the funeral home as well, with interment at La Porte Cemetery. In lieu of usual remembrances donations may be made to the OIM Fund at Bayshore Baptist Church, 11315 Spencer Hwy, La Porte, TX 77571
